No Helmet No Ride..
1. Have sought medical examination to ensure that the Participant is certified to be medically fit to participate the Event;
2. Wherever applicable, have sought to ensure that the Participant is insurance policy is void or voidable as result of the participant’s participation in the Event.
3. Have ensure that Participant’s sporting equipment and safety gears have been recently examined by a skilled bicycle mechanic and services and certified to be fit for use in such an Event.
4.Have taken cognizance of the fact that trail designated for this Event is extremely and hence requiring much endurance and techncal skill to surmount.

FROM Dec 11-2011 onwards, the area around Beach Street in GeorgeTown will be off limits to motor vehicles every Sunday from 7am to 5pm in conjunction with ‘Car Free Day’ (NO CAR).

The programme will see Beach Street, Church Street,Church Street Ghaut, and part of Bishop Street — that add up to a total of 835m — being cordoned off every Sunday.

Penang Municipal Council  (MPPP)  president Patahiyah Ismail said the designated area was very small, & she said that to ensure no motor vehicles enter the area during the allotted time, enforcement officer would be placed at the entry point of each road  “Only pedestrians and bicycles will be allowed into the area.”
